Unit 2 Meeting, Friday Jan. 16th

The time and location of the next Unit 2 meeting are as follows:

Friday, January 16th, from 5-8pm.
246 Bloor St W (at Bedford), Rm. 548

Food will be available and attendance at the meeting will count as 3 hours of picket duty. The agenda of the meeting is as follows (note: feel free to propose additions to the agenda as a comment to this post):

  1. Summary of forced ratification preparations to date.
  2. Activities for Monday and Tuesday forced ratification voting days.
  3. Contingency planning for after the forced ratification.

Strike Committee Meeting, Jan. 11th

A strike committee meeting will be held on Sunday, Jan. 11th, from 3pm-6pm at OISE Rm. 5250. Important decisions will be made concerning our plans for next week. Please come to this meeting if you can. We can have a Unit 2 sub-meeting as well if members wish.

Forced Ratification Mailout at Strike HQ

CUPE 3903 is organizing a mailout to all its members which addresses the university’s recent forced ratification attempt. Please take the time to come to CUPE 3903’s strike headquarters to help us finish this mailout as quickly as possible:

Calling All Unit 2s – Unit 2 Flying Picket on Monday, Jan. 12th!

In order to show strong Unit 2 support for the picket lines, a Unit 2 flying picket will be held on Monday, January 12th from 10am-12pm. The flying picket will start at the Chimneystack Rd. picket and will subsequently visit each picket line. A strong turn out of Unit 2 members for this event will present a strong message of union solidarity!
